It's not a dumb question at all. In fact there are none in pregnancy!! That being said you may not feel consistent movements for another week or two. You can try a few things Put some headphones up to your belly and play baby a little rhythmic music. They really like that. You can try relaxing after ou eat a meal. Generally if you are moving around a lot you are "rocking" your baby to sleep so that might be one reason why you haven't felt much yet. When you lie down lie on your side and you can also massage your belly and talk to the baby. Pretty soon your baby will be non stop and kicking like crazy. Good luck and Congrats!!!!

Try drinking a big glass of orange juice and lying down on your side. The orange juice will give the baby a sugar rush so it might get active. Babies also move more when you lay down, because your activity and movement lull the baby to sleep.

i've got moved at the instant, i'm quickly with relatives jointly as my husband starts his new interest around the rustic and instruments up abode for us. He did not understand every physique that we are staying with because of the fact that we lived thus far-off. He (15 months previous on the time) replaced into very clingy, did not choose to consume lots, and saved scanning the room. We have been cosleeping on and rancid till now we moved, now we cosleep finished time. He holds directly to me, it is the only way he will sleep-yet he's all i understand and that's his secure practices. i actually do not concepts, he remains a toddler! i've got stumbled on that relatives has a tendency to attempt to verify my toddler, so we get out and stroll the mall or do numerous issues so we can't pass insane. I additionally delivered regular issues for him, yet i offered some new toys and books-he picked them out on the shop and he has a collection of toys at each and every families abode. i attempt to stick to an identical schedule we had till now we moved too, we are all creatures of habit. stable success!

It's still kinda early to feel alot of movement, but the trick that always works for me is to drink a big glass of REALLY cold water. I lay down for a few minutes and she goes nuts! Good Luck and Congrats on your little one.

not moving right now is perfectly fine but later if you need baby to move eat chocolate or something sugary
this also works about half an hour before bed as it makes the baby hyper then they fall asleep easier

eating a serving of milk chocolate every day will actually make your baby happier, healthier, and more active (mentally and physicaly)

Have you tried drinking some orange juice? The sugar content often will make the baby more active. Hope this helps...and btw, congrats, kids are the best!

I used to lay down on my back and my son would start kicking up a storm. This is not good to do for a long period of time because you can cut off circulation to an artery but it worked everytime with my son.

For a while the only way I could feel my baby is if I pressed my hand gently into my stomach. I could feel her kick against my hand that way. Eventually, the movement gets so dramatic that your entire stomach will jump, shudder, and shift. Its really cool, so enjoy! Also, the times I felt my daughter most was when I lied still. When you are moving, it rocks them to sleep.

I've heard of people drinking orange juice. When I lay flat on my back before bed, I almost always feel her moving around. If any of the ones other people tell you actually work, let us know please because I would like to know also! Good luck!!
