I have bought world of warcraft but i have not created my account yet (will create one soon).
I have a previous 10 day trial account that has not run out but I am worried that if I use my trial account on my game I will not be able to use the account I make later.

I heard that you can only have one account per game?
can anyone help?

Think of the 10-day trial as creating an account. Creating an account under the trial will make it an account, plain and simple. The only thing that happens is that you will have to register to continue playing on that account after 10 days.

Basically, if you made the trial character, got it to level 15 or whatever, and then went out and got it registered, it would remove the trial restriction and allow you to play it like it was a regular account.

You want to go to the official WoW site and go to your Account Options for the trial version, and then navigate around there for Upgrade options. Then it will ask you for the CD-key that you got with the retail version of the game, and voila, your trial character will remain and you can pick up where you left off.

Cheers!

The game that you have installed on your PC is nothing more than a client. You can access as many accounts as you care to from the client and have full account functionality.

So, to answer your question, if all you want to do is start a new account and not worry about the character from your free trial, just go ahead and create a new account. When the game prompts you for your login name and PW, enter the new ones from the new account, and you're good to go.

If you want to keep the character you had from your trial, just log into your old account and activate it using the key from your new game.

You can link your paid account to your trial account data, then your trial players become paid players and can do everything they want to.
