Either the cosmos have always existed or the cosmos had a beginning. If they have always existed the problem is that energy decreases and that if the universe were here for an eternity we would see it dying.

If the cosmos had a beginning, then how did "something" (cosmos) come from "nothing" ( pre-beginning).

It's easy to think that we have a good understanding about how things work in the universe. But what do we really know?

Pretty much all of our scientific experiments and understanding have been developed on one planet. And that's the problem.

Consider a chocolate chip cookie. If you lived your entire life on the inside of one of the chips, you might think that the entire universe was made of chocolate. Even if you travelled out, you might think that the entire universe was dough with chocolate until you came across some nuts. And that's not even considering the possibility of other cookies!

Much of what we know SEEMS to be apply to the universe at large. But maybe there are places where energy and matter DOES come from nowhere. Maybe there are places where whole new universes are created and destroyed. We can't really know right now.

So keep an open mind.

cosmos means world, so according to what theory you want to believe it was either ceated by god, or the most logical to alot of people including me , would be the big bang theory..
Without saying I dont believe in a greater power..or god.
Scientists do say that for instance our son is burning out..

I Don't think we will ever know where and when it all began. It's just nice to throw ideas out there. This is a remarkable universe and we need to research it, take care of it and enjoy it while we are here.

When nothing was there He (God) was there.
When He wants to create any thing, He has to just say "BE" and it happens.
