No. She is not worthy of any preferential treatment. If she has broken the law, she must pay the penalty

My Comment: The petition for the gov to free paris only says to forgive her for DUI, but she's not only going to jail for that, some people forget she was driving without a license and the law clearly states: If you drive with a suspended or revoked license, you can be fined and jailed and your vehicle may be impounded. At least she still has her car! And what example would governor Schwarzenegger set if he steps on a judge's decision? and isn't this a waste of the governor's time and our tax money?
I'm going to sign these two:

Look at the answer from the gov:
Thank you for contacting Governor Schwarzenegger regarding Paris Hilton. The Governor always appreciates hearing from constituents on issues important to them.
Although the Governor’s office has not received a formal request for assistance from Ms. Hilton, the Governor generally will not consider intervening in private legal matters. While the Governor does have executive clemency power, Governor Schwarzenegger will exercise his clemency power only in unusual or extraordinary cases and generally after all judicial remedies have been exhausted.
On behalf of the Governor, thank you again for writing. An informed and engaged citizenry is essential to a successful and responsive government.
Sincerely,
Patrick Campbell
Office of Constituent Affairs

No. She should have to go through the jail term just like I would. Money does not make a person above the law. Many of these "wealthy" people think that they can get away with any thing. I admire the judge who had the guts to send away just like any one else. People that are in the limelight as much as Paris Hilton should make themselve role models. Not examples

Nobody who cares about her would want her pardoned. Jail time seems to be the only way to impress upon her that she is on a destructive life course and needs help.
The jail time will force her dry out, and then she will have a chance to think.

No she should not be pardoned!!!
She broke the law... not once, not twice, but many times. She is a criminal. She should serve her 45 days like any non-famous person would have to do!!!
What example would that be setting to pardon her from her sentence??

If he has been given the authority to pardon her sentence then it would be his choice. Of course she would be missing out on meeting some really interesting people and their different culture.

i think that her sentence should be to work at wal-mart for 45 days. then she might appreciate how good that she has it. i can not figure out why people even care about these no talent, rich kids that there only claim to fame, is being a tramp.

I think Arnold will laugh his butt off. He'd rather drink poisoned tea than pardon her!
