If I had a pet, I would prefer a dog to a cat.

I am not really an animal person but were you to ask my four year old who has zero attention span he would say dogs ... he has been asking for a dog for over a year. How can a person who can't remember what you just said to them stick to a topic for over a year! I just might relent one day when he is MUCH older and can take proper care of the dog. Dogs, dogs, dogs almost all we talk about at my house.

You'd think I prefer cats since I have 9 (5 adults and 4 kittens). But I truly love dogs. They communicate with us like they're people. They talk without saying anything. They're the closest you can get to having kids without having kids. Am I rambling?
