I have a sore throat and a stuffy nose. I took some vitamin c, and it helped a little. I have a doctors appt. thursday, wondering if theres anything i can take between now and thursday that wont hurt the baby.

I took two vitamin c pills, and dont plan on taking more until tomorrow possibly.

yes there is actually a lot of cold medicines you could take like my doctor gave me a list of over the counter medications you could take while being pregnant! in which they are : tylenol cold, thera-flu, thera-flu for cough, robitussin dm (for cough), sudafed severe cold tablets, or any of the drixoral products. this is only a partial list but just as long as you get the daytime cold medicines you are fine but they did not racommend the night time ones!! good luck and i hope you feel better!

Don't overdo the vitamin C...it won't help the cold and in large doses it's not good for baby.
Call the doc's office, they can tell you what you can take that is OTC.
Rest, fluids, etc are the only thing I can tell you for sure!

Cold symptoms , stuffy noses, are very common during pregnancy. And there's really nothing you can do about it. sorry. It'll go away on its own. But its still best to get it checked out in case its serious.

you can take tylenol, tylenol pm is great for at night especially if you get leg cramps. you can also take sudefed(sp?) that's what my dr had suggested to me when i was pregnant
