I think the fact that Hilary Clinton tries to transform herself into "whatever works at the moment" should tell us what kind of President she would be. I'm sure you could find a better place to go than France if she were to become President. (But think about it, do you really want to sound like Baldwin?)

She tends to talk "country" when she is in the South, not when she addresses blacks. Seeing as how she lived in Arkansas for an extended period of time it probably isn't too hard for her to fall into that. All politicians tend to speak in the local vernacular when they are in different parts of the country. Just like Obama stood up there talking like a black preacher in Alabama, when he sounds as white as my husband any other time. Hillary Clinton may be a joke to you, but she is the front runner, not only for Democrats, but in general election polls. Move to France, I'll be happy to help you pack.

Yeah, I don't get it. She's mocking them. And then, you have the Reverend Al Sharpton standing behind her clapping, and cheering while she's talking to those people like they're the biggest morons on earth. Which, I guess is not completely wrong, I mean, they buy the phony accent, and think she's one of them. For the love of God, she was raised in Illinois!!!

I thought she was having fun with the crowd, that's all. I have heard a lot of remarks about it, but, really don't see it as pandering. African americans really like the Clintons, generally, and she was revelling in the fun, no big deal!
