If the radiation was not too extreme, and the temperature and size of the stars were small enough, it would be possible, but dangerous solar flares, and solar storms could happen, therefore the planet with two stars would have to have a relatively strong magnetic field. Very possible though, and we may have even discovered a few planets with double stars.

If the conditions are right, of course. And in an infinite universe with more stars than all the grains of beach sand on earth, it is a certainty. It was once thought that our sun had a twin star called Nemesis but that was never confirmed. Sooner or later, with the advent of superior technology, we will discover planets in a binary star system conducive to life .....those systems are quite common in the cosmos. We are not alone. John

this is a great question...and the answer is most definately yes!!!! as long as the planet was just the right distance from the pair so as to make the climate exactly the same as we expierience here on earth. as a matter a fact, the first planet ever found orbiting a double star system was just found a couple of weeks ago. But this planet would be too hostile for humans to live on. i hope this helps!!!!!!

well u would think so but someday the planet is going to lose the sun cuz well u kno its dying out i dont think if we were to find air on another planet and things we need it would be extremly hard and we probley would end up with a sun the size of a window just because of how it all started there is like a 1 out of 1000 chance of a bang happenin again

If we are talking about technologically advanced Homo-Sapiens, then absolutely. All we would need is shelter, A/C, water and food, and we could live anywhere.
