Well if I loved him--I would ask him to walk with me more but I would not love him less.

When I was gaining weight my ex husband was feeling confident I'd stick around. When I lost all of the weight he was the additional 200 lbs I don't mention.

the weight gain shouldn't bother you, you love your partner for who they are, not what they look like

That would make me worried about their health. I would ask that he see a doctor to rule out anything that could be wrong.
