Sure, esp if you have a tumor that produces Hcg, though those are rare. You could also have a faulty test.

If you have no uterus and still have your ovaries, you can still get pregnant (although it is very very rare). Many many years ago here in southern Ohio, one of the local doctors delivered a baby that was not in the mother's uterus at all...she had had a tubal ligation, but somehow, the sperm met the egg in her abdomen and the placenta (where the HCG is manufactured) formed and attached to her abdominal organs (I think it was her liver and large intestine mainly). The baby was delivered via c-section. So, I am guessing that if a woman still had her ovary or ovaries, she could conceivably get pregnant, even in the absence of the uterus. Also, if a tumor forms that is high in HCG levels or makes HCG , you could get a false positive result. Hope this helps.

If you still have your ovaries and have ovarian cancer you will get a positive on a HPT because the tomor produces a chemical that mimics hcg.....if you have no uterus and have a positive test you seriously need to see your dr before something happens to you......but the question floating through my minid is what made you decide to take a HPT if you had no uterus to start with?

Pregnancy tests test for HcG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) if you have a tumor or other cause that produces that hormone, the test will be positive. If you get a positive test and have no uterus (why are you testing?) that is cause to see the doctor, right away!

You cannot find the pregnancy in this case with Test strips, because the test strips are designed to find the presence of hCG ( Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in the urine of the women. This hCG is secreted by the embryo only after implantation(attachment of the embryo with the uterine walls).
But if the pregnancy is ectopic, you can find it through Trans Vaginal Ultra Sonic method. Find more information from http://gestobaby.com/

If you still have your fallopian tubes then it could be an ectopic pregnancy?
Thats life threatening.
Looking at all the other answers too, I would say yes, its definitely possible to get a positive result and, whatever the reason, its highly unlikely to be good news, so get to the doctor, quick.
Sorry.

It's a moot point. Why take a "pregnant" test if you have no uterus?

Sure, do you still have your fallopian tubes? Did they leave your ovaries and tubes in tact? You could have a tube pregnance which would need immediate attention from your doctor.
