Could we construct a greenhouse on Mars that met the necessary atmospheric conditions to simulate Earth, and if so, would plant life grow in Martian soil?

I believe chemical analysis performed by Viking and other space craft show the soil to be very caustic. It would probably kill any plants that tried to grow in it.

So far as we know, there'd be no nutrients in the soil for plants to utilize, just primary elements. I remember reading that growing corn with lunar soil mixed in with standard topsoil produced a corn plant that grew slightly faster, the plant in lunar soil by itself germanated, but died after a couple of weeks - presumably because it couldn't process anything in the lunar soil. I would suspect Mars would be similar.

Ive heard that their soil can extremely strengthen earth flora, they'd would desire to function extra nutrition and stuff even with the incontrovertible fact that.... there is thrilling this video approximately colonization of mars which will hapen in the fairly close to destiny I dont know the call of it yet merely seek for it on youtube or google its a reasonably super undertaking

It is possible but the chances are very slim. The greenhouse has to have it's own atmosphere.

Yes, but the atmosphere is so thin and the temperatures so cold that it would be very difficult to make it work.

The greenhouse would have to contain it's own atmosphere, water and have a heater to regulate temperature.
