The poor baby is so misserable and I don't know what else to do for her. I feel that I have tried everything with no relief. There are times that she cries for hours at a time, and nothing seems to comfort her. What else can I do poor her? I feel so bad for her, and sometimes she doesn't even want me to hold her. Please help!!

There is this stuff called "Hurricane gel " now mind you it is a little pricey but it works way better then Baby Oragel ever has. It is safe for babies but you actually have to ask for it at the Pharmacy counter of a drug store. It lasts forveer and its also good for adults too. My pediatrician recomended it and I have used it ever since. it comes in quite a few different flavors too. Gets me through the hard times with my baby girl!

Here's what works for my little punkin:
Tylenol, wait 4 hours then give Motrin, wait 6 hours then give Tylenol...repeat
Night-time strength Orajel twice during the day and twice at night if she wakes up
Terry Cloth teethers:

Terry cloth is great for teething because you can wet it down and stick it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes and then they go to town with them! They really are the best for gnawing on.
There really isn't a lot more that you can do, other than to just give her some TLC. Good luck and I'm right there with ya...my daughter is 8 1/2 months old and cutting tooth number 8!

The baby tynenol or motrin helps a lot but so does the baby orajel. Just use a very small amount on the area that is bothering her. You can also use the teething rings that you freeze for her to chew on. If you use one or all of the above she should be doing a lot better, if she still acts like she is in pain ask your doctor, the amount of medicine may not be enough for her and they will be able to give you something stronger but still safe, never guess the amount! Good luck!

Ice chips, or a frozen pop, or stick a binky (if she has one) in the freezer for a bit to suck on. And yeah the pain releiver stuff would help too. What about the tooth/gum numbing stuff by I think Johnson and Johnson for babys.

I had decent success with Baby Orajel, which numbs the gums for a bit.
Like all things child-related, this too shall pass, only to be trumped by something worse. ;)

Have you tried Tylenol, or Motrin? I can't live without a bottle of those in my medicine cabinet at all times (for my baby.)

try a teething ring, oral gel on the gums, ice in a wash cloth and place on gums, rubbing the gums with your finger, infants tylenol will probably work the best. have you tried any of these?

Along with her teething should could experience, ear infections, fever and she could have the run offs. these could cause her to be fussy along with her teeth. if you lay her down and she cant sleep on one ear and she tosses and turns, aha!!!!!! this could be a problem
