I did an internet search on "October holidays," and found the website below. Two interesting things I found: October's Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog month and Hispanice Heritage Month is from 9/15 to 10/15.
10/1 - Vegetarian Day
10/5-7 - Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend
10/6 - German-American Day
10/11 - Saturday Night Live premiered, 1975 (George Carlin was the guest host.)
10/12 - World Egg Day
10/16 - Boss's Day
10/18 - Alaska Day
10/20 - Sweetest Day
10/30 - Candy Corn Day

You Christians, for some reason, do not look to throw a p*ssyfit over all people else celebrating Halloween and St. Patricks day. even even with the incontrovertible fact that the two are merely as pagan/christian observed as Christmas. additionally, New Years Eve and yuletide are close mutually. it might make experience to all people with a ideas.
