Okay American's ARE lazy but come on, electric toothbrush? That's more about being cleaner than lazy. They get your teeth more clean than conventional brushes. Use a better example.
Remotes, drive-through's, delivery, driving car down driveway to check mail. That's what makes us lazy. Video games and t.v. rather than sending the kids outside to play, that's lazy. Electric toothbrushes, hahahaha. I bet you think electric razors make us lazy too.

I dont think they are all lazy. Electronic tooth brushes are supposed to 'brush like a dentist' or at least thats what the manufactures say!
That is like saying all english people (including myself) are posh. Which i asure you is not the case.

Most people like new gadgets to play with. I've tried the electric thinking it would clean better but went back to my toothbrush.
We have hands and a knife, why do we use an electric chopper?
We have feet, why do we use a car?
We have hands and a pen, why do we send e-mail instead of writing?
It's called progress.

Just be thankful that people are brushing thier teeth. I myself don't have an electric toothbrush because they are expensive.
The most useless thing I've seen has to be the automatic sucker stick. It rotates so that you don't even have to turn it yourself!

America set the standard for instant gratification. And, you are seeing our manifest destiny.
Mankind as creative beings must improve the quality of their lives, even if the technological advances merely reduce one's efforts in one way or another.
Yes, we are fat, full, weak, and lazy.
Pass me the remote!
