And you notice who is NOT changing their way of life while urging us to change ours.

I am willing to drive an electric car for my in-town driving and reserve my use of fossil fuels to a minimum. Toilet paper could be made from cotton (renewable) and that would help. I wish we could have a healthier way of eating that is convenient. I would be willing to try. And passive solar is something everyone can take advantage of with a few minor alterations to existing structures. But, yes, it seems that the proponents of man-made global warming have some kind of agenda. I haven't figured it out yet. I let them ramble because even though I disagree that global warming is man-made, I like the good changes that could come from this idea. However, a lot of the most vocal subscribers to this theory actually are unwilling to do anything personally that would involve a sacrifice....they just talk and talk (and keep on driving gas guzzlers, throwing away all kinds of trash, running their heat and AC on high, etc etc.) What can you do with someone like that??

Give up? No, but change, yes ... but slowly.
How much of this "stuff" do we need? And how much of "looks pretty" is bad on the eco-system. I am not going to give up toilet paper, but I have found unbleached toilet paper that is not abrasive (Bleach ... unnecessary, goes into the water, pollutes). I am not going to give up my car, but I have saved a ton of money since I started taking the bus to work (it stops less than 200 yards from my front door and with 1 transfer takes me closer to work than I can park!). Some of these *scams* change my way of life in positive ways.
Little things, baby steps. We can make a difference.
btw - I am *not* a Democrat, NOR am I a Republican. I vote my conscience. If that makes me radical - good for me!

the point is in what degree we the humans will go ahead and try to change certain things in order to have better planet.
that is all. no gimmick no schemes
by the way why people use those labels after or behind global warming, like liberals, Democrats,
independent, green, Aliens, moon, and on and on

I think the folks in Greensburg,Kans. think that the tornado was a SCAM of the Democrats! As we all know the Democrats are able to control the weather with their minds! As for going "primitive" the truth is we dont have any more choice about it than the folks in Kans. did! Ignoring the obvious is the last resort of the ignorant! What other planet do we have to go to? Do you think GOD will give us another to mess up?

A very large percentage of the world lives this way now. I would have little trouble doing this but outdoor toilets make more problems than they are worth.

No. But I am willing to drive a hybrid car, recycle as much as I can, and stop buying a whole lot of crap that I don't even need.
