A couple of the most popular names are Max, Buddy, Jake or Rocky. O r how about Rowdy, Roscoe or Ziggy? Names like Flash or Vroom would be appropriate as he'll be off in a flash, nose to the ground at the drop of a hat!
Good luck and have fun choosing!

Aww how cute! Hope he's lots of fun and behaves himself! How about Choc. Or Horris, thats funny, or Chubby, though thats a bit mean. Rascal would be good if he's naughty. Or just a human name liek Toby may suit. I like a name that suits character or personality so maybe you should wait a few days and then name him after some funny habit he has picked up! Good luck and have fun!

Jabba the pup! Hehehe! Or Chunk, Chubba, Dozer (like bull dozer), Tank, Gordo (spanish for fat), Sumo, Fett (either like Boba or Jango from Star Wars or the German word for fat), or anything else that works for you. You can always wait and see if he's a Rascal, Sassy, demon, or Goofy!

Hello...what we usually do is get to know the dog, watch them, then they usually end up with some sort of nickname that suits them well - unless we adopt as we do now, then they come named..just no stupid names, no such thing as bad dogs/animals, bad & stupid people/owners ;) Take Care :)

I was joking to my fiance last night that I wanted to get a puppy, name it Jehosephat, and call it Phatty. That might actually work in your case! :-)
Get to know him for awhile. The perfect name will pop into your head.
