why do short people live longer on average?

I didn't know that but maybe it's for the same reason fat people don't live as long as slim people. The bigger you are your heart has to work harder to pump blood around the body, which basically wears it out quicker.

Maybe they are not that easy to find by the angel of death. Just kidding.....I am not sure about your question if that is statistically true. If it is, maybe, most short people try to overcome their sense of insecurities by making themselves outstanding in many endeavors. One of which is to live healthy. I have many short friends who are at the top of their careers and achievements also.
