changed the light bulbs to CFCs and also I am looking to get a hybrid car. there is a web site that will let you know what you can do in every part of your life to change something small that helps in a big way

insist on cloth bags at the grocery store...if they don't provide them, then bring your own...

or also don't use a plastic throw away water bottle.... get one that you can use over and over and put in the dish washer!!!!

I walk much more, recycle more, and try not to waste paper. Also, I switiched to propane gas instead of traditional charcoal which should help too. The best thing to do is try to get others to participate in the green movement with you, for if we all did that with two people it would really help.

Taking the bus and walking instead of driving; recycling; trying to buy things that are earth-friendly; using organic gardening methods; and limiting the amount of water used around the house to only what's necessary.

I don't eat meat, I eat organic food, I avoid petroleum based soaps and detergents, I do not purchase gas from Exxon-Mobile or BP-Amoco, I recycle, I car pool, I educate people on environmental issues, I pick up litter...
