in all honesty, the best way I found is just to keep the nails pretty short. You can try a nail brush, but even my 3 year old complains about that.

As for the room cleaning - our kids have to have their chores done before dinner or they do not eat until it is done - and done right. Sounds a little harsh, but it really works. They have to pass a room inspection if it is room cleaning day. The screaming is annoying - but you have to walk away and act like it doesn't bother you. Do that a few times, and it will stop because it no longer works. Every time the 2 year old breaks something that belongs to someone else, make him/her give one of his/her favorite toys to the victim. If he/she breaks one of their own toys, just throw it away in front of him/her. Don't act like it bothers you, just handle it calmly. All of this is being done to get a reaction. Take the reaction away, and the behavior will stop. I agree with an earlier poster that there should be no food in the bedroom. Insist that food stays at the table.

Could be an accumulation of skin and lint. Wait until your baby is asleep, and then trim the nails short, and keep them short. It won't be too long before those little nails will start scratching, and they will hurt. Congrats. Best wishes

Keep them trimmed down. He is probably getting dirt under his nails from maybe scratching himself or blankets.

Maybe try a soft toothbrush. Keep the nails clipped short.

Keep his nails trimmed or file them down.

the only thing to suggest is to cut them relatively short. This is best done when he is asleep when he is less likely to wriggle.
