Robitussen can help thin out your mucous because it is an expectorant. That is what you need to look for when picking out a cough syrup. Not any cough syrup will work, only those with expectorants in them b/c that is what thins out your mucous membranes.

See your doctor for a post-coital test, where they examine your cervical fluid around ovulation time after you've had sex. They look to see how easily the sperm can move around. If they find that the texture of your cervical fluid is too thick, then maybe try the guaifenesin (Mucinex is easiest, in tablets). Just make sure you're taking the plain kind, without any decongestants (plain Mucinex, not Mucinex DM). Decongestants dry up your cervical fluid!

You don't necessarily want it thinner. Your cervical mucus is what aids the sperm to stay alive and swim. Now if you are wanting to sway gender you could use sudefed. If your cm is thick and not letting you get lubricated enough you can use KY or some other form of waterbased lubricant.
(If you are interested in swaying for gender you may try www.in-gender.com)

I heard product that contain guaifenessin can help thin out your cm (robitussin and mucinex has it). If you are not producing cm, use preseed (sperm friendly lubricant). I didn't know if it has anything to do with helping me getting pregnant, but i did get pregnant after using it once. Good Luck.

I have heard that cough medicine works, like Robitussin, or Mucinex. Look online at fertility websites.
