I embrace both. I think a woman should be treated as an equal in the workplace and I also think the traditional man going to work and woman taking care of the home and family extremely valuable.

I'm kind of a mix. I definitely think that men and women are equal and no woman should ever be treated otherwise. However, I also believe that there is a natural order of things which is good for the family. I think the role of a traditional homemaker is way undervalued. I also can't imagine sending my children off for some daycare provider to raise.(I do understand that some people don't have a choice) It's just a fact that children benefit from having a parent stay home instead of going to work. Although the woman would usually be the one to stay home I think it's OK for it to be the other way around. I do like to be treated like a lady, but not a helpless idiot.
Having made my point about traditional values, I think it's far worse for a child, man, or woman to feel trapped in an abusive home. Sometimes it's better to break with tradition.

The "feminist" view depends on how each individual defines feminism. However, I tend to take that view more than traditional views. Nowadays, both men and women work just to make ends meet. That means there needs to be a balance at home...especially if they are raising children. The idea that a working woman must then go home and do all the cooking and give all the childcare for her family is not only outdated, it's ludicrous.

I embrace the view that falls right in between the two. Frankly I can't stand women complaining about their unequal treatment and unfair role in society. However I also don't agree with the extreme right which would prefer women to stay at home cleaning the house and washing the dishes. I think a scoiety where women are treated equally and there weren't all these feminist activists running their mouth would be perfect.

"It seems that some woman view the traditional role of a woman as being inherently inequal to a man's role" and it is.
"@berrytrain I think women still want men to be men. They don't want a wussy guy who is sensitive and confused." You literally have no idea how wrong you are, i think you need to get out more, I, as well as most of my female friends and a lot of women nowadays (proved by a study, look it up) actually prefer more feminine men (dont mistake that word for flamboyant - i dislike flamboyant men and women), they are sweet, nice, intelligent, caring, open, and obviously usually have more feminine facial features etc = making them beautiful on the outside as well. I'd take this type of guy over your brain-dead, muscle-head, fake macho caveman kind any day.

I embrace the evolved female role with traditional undertones. I still value having my chair pulled out for me, doors opened and being treated like a lady. But I don't expect to be coddled or taken care of. I am a modern woman who wants to be treated LIKE A WOMAN but I take on my share of the responsibility and work.

I embrace what my Mother taught me, a career woman before women had careers and a devoted wife and mother at the same time. She said, "it doesn't matter which role we choose, housewife or doctor or CEO, as long as we do what we do well and with thought." That is good enough for me to live by. I am not a feminist, no. I have never felt the need for it.

I think no matter how much feminist movement progress in the future, female is still regarded as the weaker gender in every aspect.
I agreed that we female today enjoy more freedom and equality than victoria and edward times, but mother and wife role will remain an inherent nature in female.
I would still very much prefer the traditional role as a good mother and housewives, but I will embrace and appreciate the freedom fought by those brave women in the past, whose struggle and movement resulted in us being given the equal rights that we take it for granted today.

I don't know the feminist view of male/female, but I have no confidence in feminist developing a fair view of anything.
Yes they had an issue about a hundred years ago but how can anyone take them seriously after they supported Bill Clinton?

A little of both actually. I think that women are better at somethings than men and men are just cut out to do some things that women are not. I do not adhere to the thought that women belong "in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant" but I think that God made us different phisiologically and psychologically and both sexes have their own strengths and weaknesses.
