You gotta check out Stereolab. They are really, really good. Also, I heard about a band in France called Wendy Code. They aren't really famous or anything, but I heard a couple songs recently and they were very good. I think they just put a record out recently.

I don't know if you specifically prefer "french from France" or any other french but I suggest "Les cowboys Fringuants" from Quebec, they are quite good. I'm sure you can find more on this website: www.musiqueplus.com - that's our MTV
