I'm ME. I'm a 'Mrs.' too, though ... and I HATE IT when I get a letter addressed to me as Mr. with MY first name (which is Kris, so you can't 'tell' the sex by the spelling) ... and I actually PREFER IT when I get 'mail' addressed to just KRIS (LAST NAME) or to 'both of us by our first names and our last name with no 'honorific' ... which isn't 'much of an honor' when it's THE WRONG ONE.
I 'don't believe in' giving any children 'the same name as their parent or grandparent' so I would NEVER give a child a 'Jr.' ... but they may decide for themselves whether to give their name to their kids, and become a 'Sr.' ...

I use "Mr. Johnson" when I'm teaching, or introducing myself to anyone under about 21. Not into this new thing of young people using their elders' first names - we're losing the concept of respect in this world.
