From the way the squash ball allegations against Gilchrist and the ICC downplaying it as 'something aking to wearing inner garments', the Pakistani and Indian teams were made to eat humble pie by the powers that be in the higher echelons of cricket. Nothing else describes this state better.

Pakistan and India has fallen from the glory because of the loads of money involved in this game. When cricket was not played for money only they were good teams but now a players comes into limelight gets overnight fame and the heaps of cash which gets into his head and then he considers himself something out of the world. When he starts doing commercials and sees a new world of show business where he gets a red carpet reception because of his cricket status he completely forgets that its cricket that has given him respect and every thing and he starts to think he is actually a "Hero" and once one starts considering himself a hero it does not take long to become zero. I think both Pakistan and Indian teams have gone from hero to zero and have a daunting task ahead to restore their reputation of heroes in the eye of the general public.

I guess trying to keep them safe of "jnix"....thats why they don't keep up for long.... pathetic !
They have the problem that they get "overconfident" soon..if they win one match they would claim to win the world...Basically they need to make a better strategy for their servival in this game...they need to know that Now cricket is played more with 'skills" than luck !!..they just go by their luck.if it favoured, well and good and if not...then they don't mind at all and again start 'day dreaming' ..well they are equaly talented to the other teams..but they are not dedicated to this game like them and thats why they are consistently inconsistent !

The main problem with Indian and Pakistan teams are that they are mostinconsistent and fail to deliver when the team want the best performance from them.
