I don't see the Republicans or the Democrats rushing to legalize gay marriage or civil unions. So, if Bush is "anti-gay," so is most of Congress.

Maybe not. In her 2004 book "The Bushes" Kitty Kelly describes a 1960s college age George Bush as gaining the nickname "lips" for sexual favors with males his age.

No, he just doesn't like them. He doesn't advocate hurting them. I'd even be willing to bet he's prayed for them. *LOL* I wonder how many gays have prayed for President Bush?

Yes, what does this mean? Does it mean he doesn't believe gay people exist? I kind of think he considers gay Americans the same way he considers the rest of us: As Americans.

I cannot understand why homosexuals expect special treatment.

personally.. i think that bush doesn't like gay people or the fact of gay marriage. he thinks it is wrong. BUT politically he isnt gonna make any factor about it because if he does, he is gonna lose a majority of his gay supporters. republicans and democrats can't just lean fully on their political party they have to see some views on both sides of the game if they want the most amout of supporters to vote for them

Yes and so is most of our government...at least publicly. Behind closed doors they use homosexuals' talents to further their careers while stepping on them in public.
