I would like to know if this would fall under any psychiatric disorders. He wrote in detail what he liked about her and then how he planned on killing and raping her. He sent the story to her and then was shocked that she was upset. Is this a normal way to vent or is there a disorder under all of this?

No its not normal, it all starts when they imagine things, then they write it down next they'll do it!
report this guy with a copy of the story!

He needs to be reported. If you are in high school I would go to the principal. I would tell her parents. I would tell my parents. I would tell the police. I would take this very seriously and yes I feel he has a psychiatric disorder but that would be for a professional to decide. If he wrote about raping and killing her in detail, the police need to know! Don't hesitate!

That is a really baseline for a great story. Your talented with your summary so i bet the full story itself is just as great. Well done and good luck with it. I really like Jen and Luke all ready and hate Clyde just from your summary!! But one question??? Jen being 17 isn't it illegal to be in a relationship a sexual one before she is over 18??? Especially since Luke is 23 and should better and of course Clyde however old he is meant to be. I would like to know about the other books too so will you posting summaries on them as well? Demi x

This is not normal behavior in the slightest...even if he wanted to just scare her no one in their right mind would go that far..
...your at secondary school??
give a copy to your Head Teacher...he will get kicked out of the school instantly
YOU HAVE TO SHOW YOUR HEADTEACHER...
because he could end up killing your friend...you or someone else...
She should also tell her parents whats happening..so that she can get extra protection...because you see this guy everyday you may not feel as though he can hurt you to the extent he said so but remember everyone has different levels...
...i.e. some people might not be able to step on an ant...but you have others who can step on it and grind it into the pavement..

Please, tell the police before he starts stalking your friend.
That is not even on the same PLANET as normal. On planet normal you would not even respond to someone you really really hated by writing a story like that. It's even more worrying that he was surprised she didn't like it. (I'm not sure if I would believe him though.) I'm no doctor, but it sounds like a psychiatric disorder/mental illness to me. Really, you have to tell the police about it, so they can decide if he needs treatment.

This is doubtless psychotic. Go to the police and when they tell you they cant do anything about it, go to your friend's family and make sure they are taking steps to protect themselves. THis guy is dangerous!

hmm, that sounds kinda crazy... i guess it all depends on the general demeanor and attitudes of the people involved... art sometimes runs a fine line between creative and disturbing
