Im trying to prove that the Manhatta Project was essential to the U.S.'s victory in WWII. I need 3 main supporting arguements, thanks.
Would be good if I can write a lot about each supporting arguement
(maybe another thesis would work better?)

The main supporting argument, and the one the president used was that it would save countless lives on the side of the Allies.
Another was that it would keep us from having to invade Japan, because the overwhelming power of the bomb would cause the Emperor to capitulate more quickly.

Since you have 3 supporting arguments an outline will help you organize your thoughts. Start with the US/UK/Canada cooperation, what the project meant for involved countries, and the result.
You need a strong thesis that covers your argument & support points. Develop that once your outline is formed.
In your concluding paragraph, restate your thesis, summarize your support (don't use the exact same words) and leave your reader with a parting thought to contemplate. Good Luck!

I think the Manhattan Project is an excellent topic but may be you can rephrase your question to

Why did the US feel the Manhattan project in the long run would save lives on a military ,civilian and economic scale?

You have your 3 arguments , now you can find out if it is true.

Argument 1 = Show of Force (by US President)

Argument 2 = Suprise Element (to Japan)

Argument 3 = Others were doing it (like Germany)
