If you have any health issues like back pain then you would be a great candidate for a breast reduction.

I had mine done Feb 2006 and do not regret it one bit.

This site helped me out a lot with my research and before and after surgery:

Edit: your medical problems MAY have to be documented, BUT I went to the PS and went through the approval with no documentation whatsoever. it all depends on your insurance company and your insurance plan.

Make sure you talk to at least THREE plastic surgeons and ask LOTS of questions. that site I linked you to has a "questions to ask your PS".

It depends on the effects they have on you physically. Back problems, shoulder pain and shoulder skin problems from the heavy bra straps digging into you, etc. And these medical problems have to be documented. Meaning you can't just go in and say I want breast reduction because of this pain and that pain and there is no history of you even going to the doctor about them. Hard to convince your insurance that it bothers you so much, yet you've never thought it so bad that you've been seen by your doctor for the problems they cause.
That's if you want your insurance company to pay for some of the reduction. Now, if you want to pay the whole thing out of pocket, then you can just go make an appointment with a plastic surgeon and schedule your surgery. But insurance is going to want to see a history of documented problems and a letter from your doctor recommending it.

Good luck--

At that age... i doubt it very much. I am roughly the same statics as you (although a little older) and my doctor told me that perhaps in the future i may need breast reduction but until they become a problem they are to stay were they are... (beside i love my boobies)

The only way you may be able to get breast reduction at that age is if its causing major (and i mean major) back problems. But they won't do it unless no other choice

you are obviously young so that is good. i assume you are in good health.large breasts can often times cause back and neck problems later on in life not to mention social issues of people looking at your breasts instead of seeing you. if you are thinking of having breast reduction surgery please for your sake do not just go to any plastic surgeon . try to find one who specializes in breast reduction. and shop around.look up the doctors complaints, law suits etc on the department of professional regulation site for your state. do not rush to get it done. shop around and be wise before you allow anyone to do this and any other surgery one you.

age weight and height have little to do with it. Do you suffer from poor posture, does your upper back and shoulders hurt, these are things that would indicate the need for a breast reduction.

That is a personal preference. I wouldnt have anyone tell me what to do with my body. If you shoulders and back are killing reduce them to C cup or something but only if it bothers you. I like a woman like yourself.
