I was on messenger chatting adn this person sent me a pic for photo sharing. I saw and it was a pic of myself and my niece. There was no way they could have gotten it. How do we stop people hacking?

delete him from your list. Use Norton Firewall

there is no way to stop hacker, they just get better every single second, try to change password regularly, make sure not make username to similar to your name, or choose a more secure chatting program, messenger is hacker's heaven.

you can't stop hackers....
but you can protect your PC from them (of course not 100%)
1. use good internet security kit
2. set up your AV to scan your system on background or do a full scan once a week.
3. don't go on sites... that you don't trust.
4. don't takk to people you don't know.
bottom line use common sense :)

you can prevent them by hacking you.. but you cannot stop them.. use Comodo firewall, and change your email address and password.
