It is not a civil war. The war was initiated by the US military, not by different factions within the country. The US started the war, the US should finish it.

It is not just a civil war. The fundamentalists who support shariah law are being supported by terrorist harboring nations who outspokenly want the US to be destroyed. By surrendering now and letting Iraq spiral into chaos we will allow them to come into power, which would be terrible for the moderate Iraqis, the region, and for the US.
