Immobilize your right hand and do nothing but lay-ups for a couple of hours. Repeat as necessary.

there are a few ways to do so. And i garuntee if you do them all you will be able to shoot and dribble with your left better. Fisrt off, try to use your left more for everything, not just basketball. Eating, writing, throwing, etc. 2, dribble two basketball at one time, using both hands. Its going to be difficult at first but after a few weeks, you'll get the hang of it. The third thing is gooing to sound silly but it works. I use balled up peices of paper and throw them in a waist basket using only the left. It really helped the use of my left hand. Practice these things and im sure you'll see results.

Best way is to tie your right hand behind your back, and play hoops by yourself for a few weeks, doing everything left handed. That not only includes dribbling, but passing, and even jump hooks. It all goes in to building the strength and dexterity in your left forearm.

Practice, Practice, Practice. if you want to be a really good ball handler you need to just practice a lot.

If you need a drill to get better at it you could:

dribble with one hand and look up and NOT look at the ball. and then switch to the other hand. Do this until you feel confident.
