They found a tomb in Herodium, a town named after Herod that supposedly had one of his palaces in it. They haven't found writings anywhere in the tomb, nor a skeleton, to associate the tomb with Herod.
This is almost a bad as the tomb of Jesus, as religionists up until now have discovered at least eight of them, if you believe the flyers tourists get in Jerusalem. All of them have more evidence than the Herodium tomb.

It really doesn't confirm anything they didn't already know as far as the Bible is concerned. Herod is a known historical figure. It is interesting historically and may give new insight as to Roman and Hebrew life at the time.
