I had previously asked a question that said asked how to open a .ctp file because it was my birthday and one of my friends sent me a birthday card, but it was a .ctp file and I couldn't figure out what program to open it with...
The question was removed and I don't know why. Is that a bad kind of file or something?
Please help.

Thanks so much! I found a program to open it (I think), but I have a Mac computer and it's only for Windows. Is there any way possible I could do it on my Mac?

The Program that created it was
American Greetings CreataCard April June 18, 2000
The Company that made the program is Broderbund

Unless you have the program you can not view this file, I have search for a viewer and have had no luck.

And Broderbund does not list it on their site. Probably stopped supporting it.

However I found it for $5.44 at amazon follow th link below

Hope this helped

Ah a Macintosh user..... OK, the only program I know of is located on the second link. It is called Vitual PC for Macs, but Note: Virtual PC does not run on Intel-based Macs.
And at 219.00 for the XP Home version, I think it is to costly for viewing one file, unless you have a constant need to access window based proucts to do what has not been written for a Mac.

Again I hope this helps.....
Dan

A .ctp file is commonly used by American Greetings CreataCard program. You might want to try going to their website...I would guess you could download the application that would read a .ctp file there.

as far as I can tell (never worked with them but I know where to look for them) they are some kind of visual save file. There are several uses for them, but mostly is like a graphic of some kind. If you search for .ctp opener, you should find something to open the file

Go to fileext.com, and it will tell you what programs are associated with any extension. As for why your question was removed, I can't help you there, sorry to hear it though.
