Abortion is wrong. It is no different than murder. War is different. Soldiers in our military choose to risk their lives to protect our nation, and national interests. An infant that is aborted has done nothing to warrant its death. The child has no say in its destruction. If a soldier does not want to fight, they can run from battle (of course there are consequences for this but they still have a choice). An innocent fetus cannot flee from an abortion.

The fetus doesn't have a choice or a say in an abortion, and that's why it's unconstitutional and unethical. However, once a human fetus is born and becomes an able bodied person, he or she can choose to join the armed forces. Unless there is a military draft, there is a choice for those who join the military. In most cases, Wars are not the choice of the soldiers - it is the choice of the leaders of the soverign nations. If the people don't have a say in choosing to wage an offensive war, it is unconstitutional. Unless the congress (representatives of the people) approves to go to war, it is unconstitutional for the president to wage an offensive war without the congress' approval.

An aborted fetus did not have any ability to decide its fate, whereas a soldier has the ability to choose its fate.
