how come all the bushes (george, george jr, jeb) are conservative, all clintons are liberal, both rush and david limbaugh are conservative, all kennedys (ted, john, bobby) are democrats, etc

is there ever anyone famous that disavows their family's political ideology? i can only think of mary cheney, dick's daughter, who is most certainly democrat since she is openly gay.

anyone else?

Actually, Mary Cheney is a Republican and even campaigned for her father. In fact, there are LOTS of gay Republicans. If you don't believe me, look up the Log Cabin Republicans.

Also, Theodore Roosevelt was a Republican, but FDR was a Democrat.

What about Ronald Reagan and his son. Very different political thought processes.
Also do not assume that because one is gay, that they are a democrat.

Ronald Reagan Jr is a prime example of that. Could not stand his father's party and their policies.

Yes. Very notable is non-liberal actor Stephen Baldwin, who admits that when he and his brothers get together they do not discuss politics.

Being gay doesn't make you a Democrat.

Being Stupid makes you a Democrat.
