Why do so many conservatives believe that Saddam had something to do with 9/11? For that matter why do so many in the military still believe it?

Any intelligent person who reviewed the available information has to conclude that the Official Government Story has a lot of unexplained questions, holes, and impossible coincidences.
* If the jet fuel fires were so strong that they incinerated the planes, the steel, & the hijackers' bodies... how come Mohammed Atta's passport was found at Ground Zero miraculously UNSCORCHED?? Apparently, an act of God I suppose. NIC (Nearly impossible coincidence)
* Why were NONE of the hijackers caught on videotape at ANY of the departure airports, either entering through security or boarding any of the planes???? (The video of Atta you remember seeing on TV was one caught of him boarding from Portland, not from D.C.) UQ = Unexplained question.
* Why is only 1 video of the Pentagon attack available, when the Pentagon is the most heavily guarded building in the world and ringed with dozens/hundreds of cameras (exact # is not released to public). Were the rest all broken??? NIC + UQ. Why were the videotapes from the nearby CITGO & Sheraton confiscated within 15 minutes of the attack???

There are tons of other inconsistencies like this.
Waiting for an answer. Or will all the nonbelievers of 911 Truth just cut-and-run when faced with facts???
Contrary to what nonbelievers think, most of us who believe 911 = Inside Job don't have any idea what actually happened - but all of us agree that the Government Story is a LIE, and that they are COVERING SOMETHING UP.
And for your information, it's not necessarily a "liberal" or "conservative" issue - it's an American Truth issue. I became LESS democrat after researching 911. Many of them are also pro-establishment, and refuse to reopen the 911 investigation to demand the government to release all videotapes & classified evidence (ie, aircraft parts, black boxes, etc).

No, it is true that jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel. However, it does get hot enough to weaken steel so that it breaks. It also burns hot enough to cause steel to expand resulting in surrounding concrete to crack and collapse.

No, Bush did not have prior knowledge of 9/11. in fact, thanks to Jamie Gorelick, Clinton's Deputy Attorney General, intelligence gathering between government agencies was nil.
So if there was knowledge of an impending attack by terrorists, it never reached the White House.

By the way, although many people believe that Bush invaded Iraq because of 9/11, Bush has stated from the get-go that there was no direct connection between 9/11 and Saddam.

Liberals will do and say anything to make a conservative president look bad. And Conservatives do the same thing to Liberals. Get a clue. It is our job to wade through the BS and vote accordingly. There are two sides to every story and issue, and the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Trouble is, no one wants to recognize that there is a middle.

hahaha.... oh NOW the poll YOU'RE looking at is right?
talk about conspiracy? about every conservative on here will tell you ALL DAY LONG how "inaccurate" polls are until they find one that agrees with what they think...
I find it amusing...
me personally, I would like to see the poll that said this...
and "we liberals" forgot that if we said "God caused the steel not to melt," every conservative in the world would have believed us...
how many conservatives believe Clinton was a mass murderer again? but I guess you guys have "evidence" for that too? is that why Clinton is in jail on those charges?

There are photographs of Bush being handed a packet with information about the attacks over a month before they took place. Not to mention a large number of people who used to work for him who have since resigned and shed quite a bit of light on that issue and many others.

Aren't the Neo-Cons the ones who consistently speak of a Liberal menace with plans to lose the war, or destroy the country? To the best of my knowledge, that certainly qualifies as a conspiracy theory...

I'm thinking that who we are hearing from are those of limited intelligence or common sense to perform even the simplest of basic reasoning or logical task. Perhaps they are liberals because it's easier and it takes less brain power.
