I think that the dead should be allowed to "rest", but then again, they're dead, so WTF. How are we suppose to learn about the past if we can't dig it up? People believe in Jesus but no body was (reportedly) ever found. Someone took his body from the tomb and put it where no one else could find it. And because it probably wasn't recorded, we'll never know the absolute truth.

Good question!! When you really think about it, would you want someone digging you up in 2000 years just so they could learn about you? I'll have to think on that.

I'm really not too much in favor of it, however, it's one of the main ways we can discover the events of the past, past civilizations and the life that went on then, and help the present and future, although if something drastic isn't done about global warming we may not have one......

I hate that they do it. Those are graves, final resting places! I don't care how old or how much we can "learn" from them, graves are sacred and should never be disturbed!

Good and bad, I guess...On one hand it seems disrespectful and sacrilegious; but on the other hand it is fascinating history...
