Yes you are one of a very few that think that. And whats wrong with a Scottish accent are there no Americans with a Scottish accent?? Have you heard to complete balls up the American actors come up with when they try to put on an English accent? Or even worse a Cockney accent!

Save me from people with no taste. Sean Connery is an awesome actor. Ever see Finding Forrester? He was awesome in The Untouchables. Develop an appreciation for talent.

Oh dear, you've upset all the Rabid Scots Nationalists now!
Technicaly not a gifted actor like Olivier or Alastair Sim, but competent none the less. The regional accent is almost like his trade mark and adds to his great physical presence on screen. He reminds me of Michael Caine who has all the same characteristics but with a cockney accent.
I'm afraid it looks like your out of luck on this one! Why not give him another look- Just after the 007 movies he done some cracking work- check out any of his 1970's movies like Frenzy, The Hill or Zardoz to see how talented the man is.

How very dare you!!! Sir Sean Connery is one of the finest actors of his generation. Al Pacino doesn't do any other accents does he? or Robert De Niro? So Sir Sean is Scottish, that doesn't make him a bad actor - it makes him a great Scottish actor!!!!!

Sean Connery is not a good actor, whatever he`s in he is only ever Sean Connery...He does not even try to get into character.

Look the guy is an actor who takes on the character he protrays NOT the accent who do you think he is Meryl Streep!
If you get a chance watch "The Hill" and "The Man Who Would Be King" and come back to me with your tail between your legs.

I doubt you are the only one but I don't agree with you. I think he's a brilliant actor and has had a very successful and long career. Not only that but I love his Scottish accent.
I think he was the best James Bond too!

I don't agree either. He may keep his accent in every movie, but he's got a lot more acting chops than that to play a part.

ME! I thought I was the only person in the world that thinks Sean Connery sucks. I thought he was a good Bond, but thats it. He gets on my nerves. Have you ever seen him parodied on Saturday Night Live on Jeopardy? That was sooo funny!
