It won't make a difference if the people who do it fill up the day before or after. The same amount of gas will be sold over 3 days, maybe more if people make sure to "stock up" the day before. A whole week where people not only don't buy gas, but cut back their driving, might let the supply build up and push the price down. My car won't be out of gas by then, I don't drive much. So I won't by gas the 15th, but my part isn't different from what I would have done anyway.

It won't effect the big companies. Only the small station owners who have little control over the price of gas themselves. They already paid for the gas they resell, and a boycott will only hurt them by making stock sit in a tank creating a net loss for the day. Not to mention the loss in income from candy, food, pop and auto-parts which makes up the bulk of their income; no gas customers usually means few people buying other things as well.

I really don't think it's going to make any difference. I don't drive to begin with but I have to listen to my husband scream and shout about gas prices all day and half the night long. So I think he will participate in the gas ban.

I dont think that not getting gas on one or even several days will help unless you dont drive on those days.If you do drive you will either have to get it before or after the banned dates. What I think would make a difference is if everyone would just boycott a specific oil company they would ultimitally have to drop prices to unload surpluss and the rest would have to follow to keep their business!!!

Amen to the guy who said he's going to buy extra gas because he's so frigging sick of getting spammed with this b.s.!! I am SOOOOOOOO tired of explaining to people WHY gas prices are high, that I just can't take any more! Please, people, stop relying on your flipping emotions to answer your questions!! Supply and demand are the number one reason for high gas prices, duh! Supply is down (because greenies haven't allowed us to drill for our own oil in decades!) and demand is up (many countries are using ten+ times as much gas as a decade or two ago!)!! Here's an idea - add to the supply - DRILL FOR OUR OWN OIL IN OUR OWN COUNTRY - and price will go down!

it won't make a difference,it's just an inconvenience to us. It's not going to hurt the gas companies. Some people did this last year and the gas companies just laughed and made even more money. It's not worth it.

Nope! Waste of time. I am protesting the taco place down the street where no one who works there is understandable.
