I have been successful in almost every other area of my life....and very happy....but I have never thought , of making a million ....I have never been money-oriented ....until now....what is the easiest and most proven method ?

That is quite easy. Produce things or give the people what they desperately need and at a good price too, before long you wll hit your millions as it is with me.

Ideal method (but not proven by me as of yet):
If you're in debt, pay off the things that you don't owe as much on first, then snowball those payments into your other debts (if any).
Live within your means.
Don't buy brand-new cars. In fact, keep it after paying it off until it is no longer driveable, and save whatever you were paying a month for the car towards a different gently-used car in the future.
Don't use credit; instead save until you can buy.
Enroll in a 401k.
Now that you're debt-free, put all that "payment" money into savings and build up an emergency fund (say $5000 to start).
Begin investing.
Disclaimer: I'm no financial expert. I saw this question and wanted to offer a few tips. Not exactly "millionaire," but you'd be well on your way. Don't always try keeping up with the Joneses, because they're broke anyway.

The 'easiest' and most proven way to make money is to enroll in your employers 401K plan, contribute 10% of your salary and choose investments that are in large cap stocks. Not the quickest, but certainly the easiest.

'Easy' and 'Most Proven' conflict here ...
For a private individual ..
Easy = win Lottery ...
Most Proven = extreamly hard work buying up and refurbishing Property for rent.
As an Employee ? = working for any of the City of London Finance Houses (this is also hard work).
