If we're just out for that, three dates totaling at least seven hours. That's about the minimum. It has happened faster, and it has happened slower.
Now, if this is going to be a REAL relationship; longer. Personally, I like to wait a long time. I have to feel comfortable and I really want to get to know the person. I want to have deep feelings, because once you involve sex, things change - you tolerate things you wouldn't normally just to continue having sex...and that's not the best thing to do for compatibility.
Now, if you're a virgin, wait until marriage. Because if the sex is bad, it'll still be pretty good (unless it's an extreme case), and you won't know any better. Plus, it's a very special gift to your man.
If you're not... well, I can't tell you I would wait. In fact, I'd insist on a test-drive, because I've had bad sex, and while it's still pretty-good, I'd want more than just pretty-good. I wouldn't be satisfied. You should wait until marriage, and the above is why, but I can hardly expect people to do what I didn't do myself.
