If you have ethernet from the modem to your computer you just connect that cord to the WAN/Internet port on your router. You then connect your router to your computer from the LAN ports or from the wireless.

It really isn't to hard.

If you have USB from the Telewest to your comupter get a USB router or USB to ethernet adapter.

I am not too familair with cable set ups.

However if your cable modem uses Ethernet to connect to your pc rather than usb then this should be easy enough to install a wireless AP.

However if it dont then this may get more complicated. Maybe contact telewest customer services and ask if they reccomend/sell any specific hardware as a replacement for your cable modem.
