haha. VAGINA..not Virgina. It's there for decoration..and it's not in the vagina..it's on the pubic area.

Hair in general on our bodies is to protect us from outside toxins. Hair catches dust and other toxins that might be harmful or annoying to our bodies once they get inside. That's why you have nose hairs and small hairs in your ears and eyebrows and eyelashes and even the hair on your head and skin. It's all to catch irritants before they get into your body. Your vagina is a very precious place on your body if you think about it reproductively. Your body has two main functions. To survive and reproduce. Well, a vagina needs to stay healthy in order to serve its purpose, so hair is there to protect it as much as possible.

My GYN informed me that the hair down there is actually there to protect our goods from germs. So women are shouldn't shave themselves completely bald.
