you need PVA wood glue which is available from all good hardware shops. screw fix. B&Q etc etc. This glue is white but when it is dry it is clear.
if you intend staining the wood after glueing then make sure you wipe away any residue on the faces to be stained before the glue drues as the glue will not take a stain.

I got my wood glue from our local craft store Michael's. Home Depot and other hardware stores have them too, just be careful some of them do not hold well. Ask an assistant to help if you get confused on what to buy.

Just a question for Keonli, if the glue is so damn good, why have you needed it more than once?
You can buy wood glue at most DIY outlets, just consider do you want to use it externally or internally, read the labels on the cans......

All the hardware stores will have it, but I recently found a bottle of gorilla glue, which is strong glue, at Family Dollar.

Any home or hardware store. Titebond is a good one to use - it's made in both interier and exterior types. My favorite when I need real holding power is Gorilla Glue, but it's a lot harder to work with.

Lowes, Home Depot, Ace and any other home improvement store. The trick is knowing what kind of glue you need. Most home improvement stores have people that can help you figure it out.

Any ironmongers or DIY store will sell it. If it is for use outside buy the waterproof variety or if for indoors you can buy the standard variety. The ironmonger or DIY store staff will be able to help you. I always use the waterproof variety for strength myself. I would suggest Evostik wood glue for outdoor use.
Good Luck.
