usally u have to been living in the same county for 6 months before you can file so if you go back to ok. then you have to wait 6 months but your hubby can file in gor. if he has lived there for 6 month and you dont have to be in the same state as long as you agree on everything

You file for divorce where you live, so you would want to do it in Oklahoma. You could file in Georgia before you leave, but you would have to come back for appearances, and why not make "Hubby" do that? So file in Oklahoma when you get there. I am sorry it didn't work out for you. Good luck.

You file in the state you are residing in. You can wait until you get to Oklahoma if you wish. The court will send the necessary papers to Georgia for him to sign.

Papers normally need to be filed in the state where the marriage took place. In many states, the same county of residence when you got married...Kes

Do not get a divorce. you need counseling. The only time you two should separate is when one of you die. You swore till death do us part. Go back and see why you married him and make it work.
