Being rich and famous does not allow you to commit the 'misdemeanor' of being stupid or the felony of driving drunk.
She has plenty of money; why didn't she call a taxi? or a limo?
45 days for driving drunk sounds fair to me.
Did you know the 'average' drunk driver who causes a fatal accident has several DUI arrests but has not necessarily lost his/her license? 38% of fatal accients involve alcohol.
I say - Drunk? Mandatory loss of license; mandatory jail time.

No, it was just right. Because they don't usually give celebrities jail time, I'm surprised she got that much. But this isn't her first problem with the law and if she keeps getting away with it she'll keep doing whatever she wants. Hopefully she'll learn that no one is truly above the law.

Nope a couple of years with some dykes would do her some good. She needs maybe at least a year and a day like Lil' Kim had. Lol.

i think the justice system is finally making a point. Celebrities are not exempt to the law nor should they be. While drinking and driving if she would have killed someone would she be exempt from that? She needs to take responsiblity for her actions.

Of course it seems harsh to Paris ,hell she makes my life a damn misery having to read and hear her whining and whingeing constantly .
If she had used her very little brainpower , then she might have kept herself out of jail but alas *thats hot* to think you are above the law..LOL ♥

Anyone who feels her sentence is too harsh is a complete and utter moron.
Her sentence should be 45 weeks.

I do not think it was unfair. Who does she think she is to be above the law? Her defense is that no one TOLD her that she was suspended. Well, um yes they did, she signed her name to it. Sounds like she needs to have a class in accountability.
