Bravissimo (www.bravissimo.com) is where I buy all my bras (I'm 21 and a 38H, also naturally, aren't we lucky ^_^).
Their bras support me mostly around the band and cups rather than with straps that dig into my shoulders, at the risk of sounding like an advert they've really helped my neck pain and it's rare to find cute bras in large sizes like this.
Word of note though: you'll have to measure yourself exactly as they specify as I'm a band size smaller and a cup size larger than I usually am with bras with that company.
Good luck, hope you get some support soon.

Look up websites that sell bras from the UK, Makers such as Rigby and Peller, Freya, Fantasie of England, etc, make bras anywhere from a 28 band size up to 44+ and cups from A to JJ. And they are pretty to boot. They do not look like medical devices or sportsbras and come in a zillion colors.
I am a 28G, and have found that the whole "support" problem was not getting a bra that had more padding in the shoulder straps, etc, but the problem was that I was NOT wearing the right size. (i was wearing a 34D than DD than a 32E. because in the US stores only carry the most profitable sizes and don't consider anyone smaller than a 34 band who is not wearing "preteen" bras is rare/doesn't exist) When you are not wearing the right size, you will get lots of shoulder pain because all your support is in the straps versus the straps only giving 30% or less of the support and more support being carried by the underband.
I was also wearing a band size that was way too big for me and didn't even know it. Most women are wearing bandsizes that are too big, especially if they are in the US because stores only carry limited sizing.
You can try the figleaves UK site or better yet, there is an ebay seller that I can recommend who instructs you to measure yourself - and they are not the typical 2 measurements that you think of and they recommend a size. If it is a size they pick and it doesn't fit, you can exchange it.
And when going for a bra, the band SHOULD be snug. If its not you might be a 34GG or H rather than a 36G. It may feel weird the first time you put it on, but believe me - you will be holding your self up straighter, your clothes will fit better, and you will just feel better.

When I was a 38J (had a reduction), I found good supportive bras at http://www.jms.com (Just My Size).
Or you could google your bra size "36G Bra" and check out those websites that pop up.
