In all seriousness, I have asked this very question myself.

Have you ever seen Ted give a speech? He yells and rants and shakes his fist. He looks and acts like a drunk at the bar at two AM trying to explain a point to other drunks sitting at the bar.

What is the draw to this guy? Is it just that he is a Kennedy and the people of MA just feel that he 'has' to be elected?

He needs to go.
