It may have escaped your notice, but different months have different numbers of days :-)

So there are many possible answers, however the most "normal" way to calculate this would be to take number of weeks in a year (52) divide by the number of months in a year (12) and multiple by 10.

i.e. 52 / 12 * 10 = 43.3333..

i.e. 43 and one third.


The alternative is to add up the actual number of days in each month and then divide by 7.

You will get a different answer if you take the first 10 months of the year (which includes Feb, a short month) compared to taking the last 10 months of the year (which does not include Feb).
