I think its a good idea. Your customer needs to know that you are a reliable supplier and a fair dealer--you deliver on what you promise and don't promise more than you can deliver. If they think of you both as a friend and as a business contact they will tend to give you their business. Its one of those things where you should probably look at the long run and be willing to give a customer a good deal so he or she will keep coming back.

I would say DEFINITELY!!! The more of a relationship you build the better chance of you keeping them as your customer. Honestly, all the people that come into our office that are our major vendors have REALLY strong relationships with us. They take care of us & joke with us. WE LOVE IT!!!

Good Luck!!!

yes, if you dont build a relationship with your customers then they will not suggest you to someone they know. Its all about referals when you are in the business of sales.

Depends what you are selling.

Consider what kind of relationship selling over the Internet requires, where dollar amounts are usually small. What relationship would you want if you were to buy something very expensive?

If you want them to come back and buy from you again, yes. If you want them to recommend you to their friends, yes.

If you really don't give a damn, no.
